LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Jarvan IV because his E+Q knockup into W slow gives him reliable CC that interrupts your attack pattern before you can stack enough Lavender stacks to sustain through his burst.
- From level 6, you win extended 1v1s decisively only if you have enough Lavender stacks built up and can avoid his E+Q engage opener — if he lands the knockup first, he dictates the trade window and you may die before your damage ramps.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Jarvan IV typically runs a full clear starting red or blue side depending on his team's setup, then looks to contest scuttle at level 3 with his strong early CC.
- He will frequently path toward lanes with gank setup potential (low-mobility targets) and may look for early dives at level 6 with his R.
Invade or Not
- You should not invade Jarvan IV early (pre-level 6) because his E+Q combo in a tight jungle corridor is extremely punishing and he wins short trades at that stage.
- Post-level 6 with Lavender stacks and a completed first item, you can contest his red or blue buff if you track him on the minimap and catch him low after a clear or failed gank.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not try to fight Jarvan IV in a narrow jungle corridor where he can land E+Q freely — your damage requires sustained auto-attack sequences and his knockup resets your pattern entirely.
- Avoid overcommitting to scuttle fights at level 3 without vision of his position, as he can collapse on you faster than you can disengage.
