Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 all-ins if Talon lands W and follows up, as your escape tools are limited and his passive burst is higher than your early damage.
- Post-6 you gain more outplay potential with R repositioning, but Talon still has kill advantage if he gets on top of you with his stealth and mobility.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q while maintaining distance, using the movement speed to kite backwards after hitting him.
- Only commit to extended trades when your E spirit is positioned aggressively and you can guarantee the execute damage, as this shifts the damage trade significantly in your favor.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely and matching Talon's waveclear rather than trying to push for priority, since he will look to roam frequently.
- Use Q to last-hit from range when possible, and only use abilities on the wave when you're certain Talon isn't looking for an all-in opportunity.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E spirit defensively unless you're certain you'll die, as this removes your main trading tool and kill threat for the next 20+ seconds.
- Talon players will often bait out your E with fake engages, leaving you vulnerable to his actual all-in attempts when it's on cooldown.
