- You lose early 1v1s levels 1-3 as Irelia can stack passive and all-in you with superior sustained damage.
- At level 6, you gain significant kill pressure with your ultimate's execute and mobility, making you the stronger duelist if you land your combo.
How to Trade
- You want to poke with Q from max range and use W to disengage when Irelia tries to engage on you.
- Never trade in extended fights - use your burst combo (Q-E-R) and immediately create distance with your mobility.
Wave Control
- You should push early waves to prevent Irelia from freezing and controlling the lane state.
- Focus on roaming to side lanes after shoving waves, as your ultimate provides excellent gank setup that Irelia cannot match.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight Irelia when she has 4-5 passive stacks or when you're surrounded by low-health minions she can Q reset through.
