Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q poke, but Ekko can all-in you if he lands W stun.
- Post-6 becomes Ekko-favored as his R gives him massive outplay potential while your R, though powerful, is telegraphed and he can easily dodge it.
How to Trade
- Lead with Q poke from max range, then look for E-Q combos when Ekko uses Q on minions or mispositions.
- Always save your E dash to escape his W stun zone or R back to safety after he commits.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to establish range advantage and roam priority, but transition to freezing near your tower once Ekko hits 6.
- His R makes him extremely difficult to kill in extended trades, so controlling wave position becomes crucial for safety.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use E aggressively without vision of Ekko's W placement, as getting stunned means certain death.
- Never try to 1v1 him in river or jungle after 6 where he can use terrain to land easier Ws and has multiple escape routes.
