LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane convincingly — your range, W slow, and passive crit autos let you poke him down every time he walks up, and he has no reliable way to engage on you without eating significant damage.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous because his R bypasses your kiting, but your own R is a hard counter to his engage; if you land R on him as he dashes in, you negate his entire threat window and can follow up with W slows to finish him.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to W-slow him whenever he steps forward, auto-attack with passive stacks active for bonus damage, and back off before he can commit to a full trade — you want to win through sustained poke over multiple short interactions rather than one all-in.
- If he ever uses Q aggressively on a minion near you, punish him immediately with autos and W while his cooldown is down.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave slow-pushed toward his tower by consistently applying W to the wave — this forces him to take poke while CSing under tower and denies him the ability to roam or reset safely.
- Avoid hard-shoving the wave into his tower, as that gives him a safe farm environment and removes your ability to poke him in the open.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let him get within melee range without immediately using R or W to create distance — if he lands his R on you without your R available, the fight is likely over because his burst with E active will outdamage your sustained output at close range.
- Never waste your R offensively in this lane; save it strictly as a defensive tool to interrupt his R engage or peel when he closes the gap.
