Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win trades through superior range and Thresh's engage potential, but Zaahen's Q healing and stack building makes extended fights dangerous.
- Post-6 the matchup shifts heavily against you as Zaahen's R engage combined with Jhin's follow-up damage creates lethal all-ins that your R alone cannot counter.
Synergy & Trading
- Use W to slow and kite backwards while Thresh looks for Q hooks, then follow up with auto attacks and Q when enemies are locked down.
- Avoid extended auto-attack trades with Zaahen as his Q healing and Determination stacks will out-sustain your damage output.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push early waves to establish range advantage and deny Zaahen easy stack building on minions.
- After level 6, maintain defensive positioning and only push when you have clear vision of enemy jungler rotations.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never fight in melee range against Zaahen even if he's low health, as his passive revive can turn a won fight into a disaster.
- Respect his E dash range and don't assume you're safe just because you have Thresh peel nearby.
