Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q last-hit advantage, but Yone's Q3 engage becomes threatening around level 3 when he can stack it safely.
- Post-6 you have kill pressure with flash R combos, but Yone's R gives him counterplay and escape options that make the 1v1 more skill-dependent.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading is Q poke when Yone goes for CS, then immediately back off before he can Q3 engage on you.
- If he uses E aggressively, you can punish with W-Q combo since he must return to his shadow, making him predictable.
Wave Control
- Push early waves with W to establish range advantage and deny Yone easy Q stacking on minions.
- After level 6, maintain slow pushes to build up minion advantages for your all-in combos, as Yone struggles to fight in large minion waves.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your stun on Yone's E shadow form, as he'll simply snap back and avoid most follow-up damage.
- Never use R without flash or a guaranteed setup, since Yone's mobility makes it easy for him to dodge with E or R.
