LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades at levels 1-2 if you can land your Q with a stun proc, but Vex's E gives her a shield and fear that punishes you for walking up, making sustained pressure risky; post-6, your R is a point-and-click stun into full combo that Vex cannot dodge, giving you a clear kill window if you have stacks ready, but Vex's R can punish you if you miss your stun timing or she has her passive doom ready.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to stack your passive to 4 charges passively on minions, then walk up and Q-stun into W into auto into E for a full burst rotation; avoid extended trades where Vex can repeatedly proc her passive doom shield and fear you, as each fear interrupts your follow-up damage and resets her advantage.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave with W to deny Vex safe CS and force her to take poke while farming, since your W clears faster than her Q and gives you priority to roam or contest objectives; avoid letting the wave freeze under her tower, as she can safely farm with Q while you have no safe way to walk up without eating her E fear.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up to trade without a stun proc ready — Vex's E fear will interrupt your combo mid-rotation and leave you taking full damage with no payoff, which is the single most common way Annie players lose this lane.
