Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 trades due to Galio's range advantage and damage reduction, but your Q mana refund gives better sustain for farming.
- Post-6 you have superior 1v1 kill pressure with flash-R-W-Q combo, but Galio can escape with E or negate damage with W timing.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to stack passive to 3, then Q-W when Galio uses Q on the wave and can't immediately retaliate.
- If he E's toward you, drop W on yourself and Q-auto with stun to win the extended trade.
Wave Control
- Focus on last-hitting with Q to maintain mana while building passive stacks, and look to freeze waves when possible to deny Galio's roam potential.
- When you have kill pressure at 6, slow-push to create a large wave before all-inning so he can't immediately roam after respawning.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your stun on trades unless you can secure a kill, as Galio becomes much more aggressive when your passive is down.
- Never face-check bushes or river without vision when Galio is missing, as his R can turn any skirmish into a guaranteed death.
