LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Sylas wins most extended trades due to his E dash closing gap and W sustain negating your poke; you can win short trades if you land Q stun and follow with E, but he will heal back a significant portion of the damage.
- Post-6, your R wall fundamentally changes the lane — you can zone him off the wave, force him to fight on your terms, and your passive egg makes all-ins extremely risky for him unless he has ignite and a clear lead.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to use R to cut off his approach angle, then land Q from max range and immediately follow with E before he can dash onto you; never commit to a full trade without your R wall placed to prevent him from freely dashing through you and sustaining with W mid-fight.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard with E to force Sylas to last-hit under tower, which limits his ability to freely walk up and trade; once you hit 6, use R to freeze or slow-push near your tower so he cannot all-in you without walking into your wall and egg passive safety net.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Sylas steal your R — if he uses your R, he gains a powerful zoning tool that can be turned against you, so avoid fighting in tight corridors or near walls when his R is up; also never use your egg passive as a reason to take reckless fights, because a fed Sylas with ignite will kill you through the egg.
