Who Wins

  • Pre-6: You lose due to mana constraints and Swain's superior sustain with passive.
  • Post-6: You win extended fights if you can zone with R and land Q on either enemy for Veigar follow-up.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use Q-E combo when enemies are farming or when Swain uses E aggressively.
  • Coordinate with Veigar's E cage by landing Q first, then let him follow up with his full combo.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Control waves with R to create favorable trading positions and deny Smolder's scaling.
  • Roam mid after level 6 when you have R for waveclear and strong gank setup with Q.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste mana on unnecessary R usage early game, as you'll run out of mana and lose all lane pressure against Swain's sustain.
