LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win short trades at level 1 with your Q dash-in burst, but Yasuo's W blocks one of your Q casts and his passive shield absorbs chip damage, making extended trades risky until level 3 when your full Q-E-Q combo can chunk him before he repositions.
- Post-6, your R gives you a reliable all-in engage that bypasses his W since it's a targeted leap, and your damage output with R active generally exceeds his in a straight fight if you land the full combo.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to bait his W with a Q cast, then immediately re-engage with your second Q or E when his W is on cooldown, as his W has a 26-second cooldown at rank 1 and he has no way to block your follow-up.
- Avoid prolonged fights where he can stack his passive shield between your hits; commit to burst windows and disengage rather than trading auto-for-auto.
Wave Control
- Push the wave aggressively to deny him the minion knockup setup he needs for his Q tornado, as a slow-pushed or frozen wave forces him to walk up into your range without his preferred spacing.
- If you crash a wave and back, you remove his ability to roam safely with R, which is one of his primary win conditions in this matchup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not dash onto him when his W is up and you only have one Q charge ready, as he will block your primary damage and retaliate with his own combo while your cooldowns are spent.
- Respecting his level 6 all-in is also critical — his R into Q tornado combo deals significant burst and you should not be at 60% HP when he hits 6.
