Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you win the scuttle fight decisively if you can close the gap on Kindred — your W dash into Q combo deals heavy burst damage and Kindred has no reliable escape at that stage, only a short-range Q dash.
  • From level 6, you win 1v1 by forcing all-ins before Kindred stacks enough marks, as your sustained melee damage and W mobility let you stick to Kindred and kill them before they can kite you out with E slow and Q repositioning.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Kindred will most likely start Red Buff side (bot-side) and path toward their marks early, often taking Raptors or Gromp before contesting scuttle.
  • Expect them to prioritize farming marked camps over direct confrontation early, and watch for early ganks bot lane after their second or third camp.

Invade or Not

  • You should invade Kindred at their second buff (approximately 3:15–3:30) when they are low from clearing, as Kindred has weak dueling at early levels without stacks and you can force a kill or burn their Smite.
  • Target the opposite buff from their start — if they start Red, invade Blue side Gromp or Blue Buff to deny resources and force an unfavorable fight on your terms.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not let Kindred freely stack marks — each stack makes the late-game 1v1 increasingly unwinnable for you, as their passive bonus damage and attack speed compound significantly.
  • Avoid extended fights in open terrain where Kindred can kite you with E slow and Q repositioning; always look to fight in tight jungle corridors where your gap-close is more effective.
