Who Wins
- You win pre-6 trades through superior range and Q poke, but Yone's level 2 all-in with Q3-W can be dangerous if you're caught without E escape.
- Post-6, Yone becomes significantly stronger as his R engage range matches your effective trading range, making the 1v1 favor him.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves Q poke followed by auto-attacks while kiting backwards, using W stealth to reposition and extend trades when Yone commits.
- Always save E for escaping his Q3 engage or R ultimate, as getting caught in melee range means losing the trade.
Wave Control
- Maintain a slow push to build minion advantage for extended trades, but avoid hard shoving as it leaves you vulnerable to Yone's all-ins.
- Keep the wave slightly on your side to have escape room while still being able to poke him when he goes for CS.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use E aggressively for damage when Yone has Q3 stacked or R available, as you'll have no escape from his engage.
- Don't get baited into extended trades in the minion wave where his Q can hit both you and minions for faster Q3 stacks.
