Who Wins
- You win most trades pre-6 with superior range, mobility, and passive double-shot, but must respect Ryze's burst potential once he gets items.
- Post-6 you lose all-ins if caught by E-W combo since you have no reliable escape from his point-and-click root.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q poke followed by auto-E-auto when Ryze steps up, using your mobility to kite back before he can respond with full combo.
- Always proc your passive double-shot on trades and use minions to extend Q range safely.
Wave Control
- Maintain distance and poke with Q while looking for roam timers with R, but don't let Ryze push you in completely or you'll lose priority.
- Keep waves in neutral positions where you can use E aggressively without overextending into ganks.
Mistakes to Avoid
