Who Wins
- You win trades pre-6 through superior mobility and range advantage, as Malzahar's Q is telegraphed and his E-W combo costs significant mana early.
- Post-6 becomes heavily Malzahar-favored since his R completely negates your mobility advantage and sets up guaranteed burst combos.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern involves using E to engage when Malzahar uses Q on minions, then weaving autos with passive procs before using E again to disengage.

Wave Control
