LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a meaningful range advantage and your W passive (Scoundrel stacks) lets you sustain through poke trades, but Ekko's W shield and E gap-close make him dangerous if he lands his Q slow and follows up — you win extended poke wars but lose to his all-in burst at level 3 when he has Q+W+E.
- Post-6, Ekko's R makes him nearly impossible to kill without burning him below 30% HP first, as he can simply undo your all-in; you cannot reliably finish him unless he misuses R cooldown.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to abuse your auto-attack range by weaving autos between Q casts to proc your passive healing, forcing Ekko to take chip damage before he can engage — never commit to a full trade unless his E is on cooldown, as that is his only reliable gap-closer to punish you.
- When you get a Scoundrel stack from a nearby kill or assist, use W to reposition aggressively and force him to respect your burst window rather than letting him dictate the pace.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave efficiently with Q bounces to deny Ekko safe roam windows, since his R makes him a strong roam threat and you cannot always follow without losing your lane priority.
- However, avoid over-committing to the wave when Ekko has R available, as a frozen or slow-pushed wave near his tower gives him the perfect setup to all-in you with E+R safety.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively to chase Ekko when his W is available — his W shield absorbs a significant portion of your burst and his E can reposition him to turn the fight, leaving you extended and vulnerable with your escape on cooldown.
- Burning your E offensively without confirming his W is down is the single biggest mechanical mistake in this lane.
