Who Wins
- You lose most pre-6 trades due to Yasuo's minion mobility and sustained damage output, but you can win short Q-passive-E trades if you immediately back off.
- Post-6 you become heavily favored as your R mobility allows you to outplay his linear patterns while W shroud completely shuts down his auto-attack reliant damage.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q-passive auto-E1 when he's isolated from minions, then immediately E2 back or use W if he commits with E.
- You must avoid extended trades pre-6 and focus on quick burst patterns that don't allow him to stack his Q or chase with minion dashes.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain the wave in the center or slightly pushed toward him to limit his minion mobility while keeping roam timers available.
- Avoid letting him freeze near his tower as this gives him maximum minion positioning advantage for extended trades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your W shroud on his initial Q poke or tornado, save it for when he commits with E or after level 6 for his R engage.
- Never fight him in large minion waves early game as his E mobility becomes overwhelming and you lack the sustained damage to match his extended trades.
