Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 due to Swain's superior range, sustain, and wave control, forcing you to give up CS and take poke.
- Post-6 you become heavily favored as your R allows you to dodge his E and execute him before his R can provide meaningful value in the 1v1.
How to Trade
- Your trading pattern pre-6 is Q-auto when he steps up, then immediately W to avoid his E retaliation and reset the trade.
- Post-6, look for R1-E-Q-auto-R2 all-ins when his E is on cooldown or when you can position to dodge it with your mobility.
Wave Control
- Accept being pushed in early and focus on last-hitting under tower while looking for jungle assistance.
- Once you hit 6, you can start controlling the wave by threatening all-ins, but be careful not to push too hard without vision.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste W defensively against his poke - save it for dodging his E or setting up your own all-ins.
- Never try to trade when your energy is low, as you'll lose extended fights without your full rotation available.
