Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 as Jax's E completely negates your Q poke and auto-attacks, forcing you to play defensively and farm with Q.
- At level 6, you gain a significant power spike with your ultimate, allowing you to out-trade and potentially kill him with your full combo.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to poke with Q from max range, then use W to disengage when he tries to jump on you with Q.
- Post-6, look for R1-E-Q-passive auto-R2 combos when his E is on cooldown.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely with Q and avoiding extended trades early, letting the wave push toward your tower.
- Once you hit 6, you can start looking for aggressive plays and roaming opportunities to impact other lanes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to trade auto-attacks with Jax early game, especially when his E is available, as you'll lose every exchange.
- Avoid using your E aggressively without your ultimate available, as it's your primary escape tool against his gap-closing potential.
