Who Wins
- You win trades levels 1-3 with Q harassment and passive procs, especially when Ekko uses Q on minions.
- At level 6, you lose the all-in potential as Ekko's ultimate provides too much safety and burst damage for your combo to match.
How to Trade
- You should Q-passive trade when Ekko goes for CS, then immediately back off before he can respond with his combo.
- When committing with E, ensure you can kill him or force his ultimate, as extended trades favor him with his W stun potential.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to deny Ekko's roam potential and force him to overextend for CS.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can guarantee a roam, as Ekko's waveclear becomes superior and he outscales your map pressure.
