Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly because your range lets you poke with Q and threaten E charm before he can stack his passive or close distance safely.
- Post-6 the matchup tightens considerably since his R is a point-and-click engage that removes your kiting window, and his revive passive means you must have enough burst to kill him twice or disengage after the first death.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade pattern is to use Q for wave clear and incidental poke, then only commit your E charm when he overextends or misses his W, following up with Q and auto attacks before using R to reposition out of his melee range.
- Never trade into him at full health with his passive stacked — short poke trades are your win condition, not extended brawls.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave slightly on your side of the lane by last-hitting and using Q to thin the wave without fully pushing, which denies him easy all-in angles and forces him to walk through minion aggro to reach you.
- If he slow-pushes a large wave into you, respect the setup and avoid fighting near your tower where his W pull into a wall can trap you.
