Who Wins
- Pre-6 you lose most trades due to Xerath's superior range and poke damage, but can contest at level 2-3 with W-E combos if he mispositions.
- Post-6 you have kill pressure with R mobility allowing you to dodge his abilities and close gaps for full combos.
How to Trade
- Look for W-E-Q trades when Xerath uses Q to farm, as this is your only window to out-trade him early.
- After 6, use R charges to dodge his E stun, then commit with full combo since he has no escape tools.
Wave Control
- Push early levels to hit 6 first and roam, as you cannot match his wave control or poke in extended laning.
- Focus on shoving and looking for picks rather than trying to freeze against his superior range.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to farm passively from max range as you'll get poked out without being able to retaliate effectively.
- Avoid using R aggressively if his E is available, as getting stunned mid-dash often results in death.
